Canazole Vg 2% Gel 30gm (Clotrimazole) works by inhibiting the growth of fungi. It does this by interfering with the production of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. Without ergosterol, the fungal cell membrane becomes damaged, leading to cell death and preventing the fungus from spreading.
Store clotrimazole at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
The dosage of clotrimazole will vary depending on the type of infection being treated and the form of the medication (cream, lotion, tablet, etc.).
Always follow the directions on the prescription label or the instructions provided by your healthcare provider.
Do not use more or less of the medication than prescribed, and do not use it for longer than recommended.
Apply the cream or lotion to the affected area as directed, usually two to three times a day.
If you are using vaginal tablets or cream, insert one tablet or applicatorful of cream into the vagina as directed.
If you are using oral lozenges, suck on one lozenge as directed, usually four times a day.

There is no known interaction between clotrimazole and alcohol.
