About Brinzotim Eye Drops 5ml
Brinzotim Eye Drops 5ml (Brinzolamide + Timolol Maleate) eye drops are used to treat high pressure inside the eye (intraocular pressure) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. They work by reducing the amount of fluid in the eye. The usual dosage is one drop in the affected eye(s) twice a day. Common side effects include burning, stinging, itching, redness, blurred vision, and dry eyes. This medication should only be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding if the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Avoid driving or operating machinery until your vision is clear. Ingredients of Brinzotim Eye Drops 5ml

    Brinzolamide

    Is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor.

    Timolol Maleate

    Is a beta-blocker.

Direction for Use of Brinzotim Eye Drops 5ml

    Treatment of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with openangle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

    May be used alone or in combination with other IOPlowering medications.

How Brinzotim Eye Drops 5ml Works

Brinzotim Eye Drops 5ml (Brinzolamide + Timolol Maleate) work in different ways to lower IOP. Brinzolamide inhibits carbonic anhydrase, reducing aqueous humor production. Timolol blocks the effects of beta-adrenergic receptors in the eye, also reducing aqueous humor production.

Storage and Handling of Brinzotim Eye Drops 5ml

Store at room temperature, between 15-30°C (59-86°F). Protect from light and moisture. Do not freeze.

Dosage of Brinzotim Eye Drops 5ml

    The usual dosage is one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily.

    Your doctor will determine the appropriate dosage for you.

    Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

    Wait at least 10 minutes between instilling different eye drops.
