Cefixime works by killing bacteria that cause infections. Lactobacillus helps restore the balance of good bacteria in the gut, which can be disrupted by antibiotics. The combination helps fight infection and reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea.
Store the medication at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Do not use the medication after the expiry date.
The dosage will be determined by your doctor based on your age, weight, and the severity of your infection.
The medication is typically given orally, usually once or twice a day with a meal.
