Oxaliplatin is the active ingredient in this medication.It is a platinum-based chemotherapy drug.
Colorectal cancer (advanced or metastatic)
Stomach cancer (advanced)

Other solid tumors (in combination with other chemotherapy drugs)
Mapsplatin 50 Injection (Oxaliplatin) works by interfering with the growth and division of cancer cells. It does this by binding to DNA, which prevents the cells from replicating.
Oxaliplatin should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C (36°F and 46°F). Protect it from light.
Oxaliplatin is usually given intravenously (into a vein) by a healthcare professional.
The dose and frequency of treatment will depend on the type and stage of cancer, your overall health, and other factors.
